About Our Darul Uloom
he Darul Uloom Ravia Ilyas Magaliesburg is between the two of the world’s oldest mountain ranges “The mighty Magaliesburg” and the “Witswaterburg”. Literally a few kilometers away from the Cradle of Humankind in Magaliesburg Meanders. The surrounding environment makes this place best for learning, reflection and practice as it is situated in an area which is known to be the beginning of humankind, its serenity, calmness and natural beauty provide the best learning place for students of deen. The building is dedicated to the DURIM is a historical 110 years old school that was built in 1910 and was opened by Klooper for Afrikaans education. The farm is two hectors plot boost with two dwellings and hosts of indigenous flowers and fauna.

New Prayer Arrangements
At Darul Uloom Ravia Ilyas Magaliesburg can accommodate approximately 78 musaleehs inside the Jamat khan and another 60 in the adjacent library in addition to this behind the Jamaat khana there is open sports field that can accommodate over 500 musaleehs.
Wedding and Events Venue
Darul Uloom Ravia Ilyas Magaliesburg
situated on two hector farms in the tranquil valley of Hartiebeestfontien nestle between two mighty mountains Magaliesburg and Witswaterburg.
There is an open field that can accommodate a wedding marquee for 500-600 guests all other amenities are available for guests. There is also a small farm guest house available for the overnight guest stay which can accommodate 6-10 pax.
Conference Venue
Our Library can host up to 20 delegates for seminars, small conferences, training or workshop. There are two conference venues on the farm quotation on request.
A conference venue is an excellent place for companies or NGOs training, brainstorming, planning or team building sessions.
the surrounding would provide peace and tranquillity for participants to unwind, relax, reflect and think creatively.
Youth Campsite
DURIM will be hosting three major Youth Boot-Camps for Islamic and life skills programs during the long weeks of March, April and September, please visit the events section for further details and booking.
you may organise your own team building boot camps for the youth and book with us, booking subject to the availability of venue.
Qurbani
We will be offering the Qurbani facility during Eid-ul-Adha and on an ongoing basis for Sadaqah etc. Please contact us for the price, it is subject to live stock availbility.

Self-Sustainble Model
Our intention is to fit the entire farm with a solar-powered electricity power generator system from lights to the geyser, from borehole to irrigation system.
There is a strong borehole with 5000 litres per hour to provide water. To farm dwellers.
There is enough place for dairy farming just to provide milk for students and staff.
There will be small scale vegetable farming in the greenhouse just to provide for students and staff.
We are planning to set up a small scale free-range chicken poultry farm to supply chickens and eggs for students and staff.
Our intention is to turn the entire farm ecosystem into a self-sustainable model and make it self sufficient, if you would like to offer financial or in-kind donations to make our dream accomplished then please contact us.
