From the offset of this project, many people have asked the question what would be the uniqueness of Darul Uloom Ravia Ilyas Magaliesburg DURIM than other places of learning? to answer this question we differentiated our offering quite differently than other places of learning Alim.

 

1. The classes are small so individual attention will be given.

2. Fully ITC integrated learning experience from face to face teaching to blended eLearning Learning Management System LMS. It will be flipped classroom-style learning.

3. The main future of our differentiation is being that we will not only offer the Deeni taleem but also run parallel vocational qualification courses to make it relevant to the contemporary life skill learning experience. 

4. DURIM will provide additional vocation courses e.g. Aquaponic, hydroponic, Greenhouse vegetable tunnel, goat and sheep farming, poultry farming, permaculture management, welding, woodwork and carpentry, tourism tour guiding, event management, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, SME management, ECD management, Computer literacy, Microsoft driver certificate programme, web designing, MS words, ppt and XL. After graduation, students will be ready with both Deeni and vocational qualifications to take their career further into their choice of selective fields or open and run their own enterprises.

 

The farm setup provides an ideal environment for a permaculture management course as living on a farm will provide each student to have hands-on experience in farming management. 

 

In addition to this, we will be providing amble sport and creation facilities on the farm e.g. soccer, cricket, netball, archery, karate, hiking and trekking, fishing, rock-climbing, bicycling and body-building et al.
